Messrs Footings and Floors Ltd, a Rodney-based company, has worked with Tilsley Engineering Ltd using their foundation designs for a number of years. Generally, their foundations are designed as Pod Floors (Rib-Raft) with some standard slab-on-grade concrete floors designed under NZS 3604. I would personally recommend this method of construction, under the direction of Tilsley Engineering to anyone contemplating building in these conditions.
